PROFILOMETRY SPECIMENS
Specimens are available for calibration and the functional check of instruments, specifically studied for profilometers; upon request calibration certificates are released.
Our calibration specimens which are prompted by the Profile Studio software during machine’s calibration are divided in two areas: the first area where the measurement of the tilted plane is taken, determines the geometry of the measuring arm and compensates the non-linearity of the sensor; the second area, where the cylinder is measured, determines the tip's shape and verifies this is suitable to take accurate measurements.
